I have finally had time this week to play with the new Springtime Soiree collection from Creative Memories. It boasts a lovely pastel colour palette and loads of florally themes so what is there not to love?? You know I love my flowers and a large title, so this layout features both!

If you are going to give this layout a try, here's a list of the supplies you will need:
5-leaf punch

First I trimmed a sheet of designer paper to 11.5" x 11.5" and adhered it over a sheet of Beige cardstock. (NOTE: To conserve cardstock you can 'gut' or remove the centre of it first.) With that done, I set my page aside and started on my paper blooms. Using the circle punch, I punched one circle from Beige cardstock to serve as an 'anchor' for holding each petal into place.
Next, using the small heart template from the Gemstone CCS patterns, I cut 6 of the 'egg' shape from the centre track with the green blade from designer paper. I then adhered these around the anchor circle.
From a different designer paper, I then punched three circles using the circle punch. Turn the punch upside down, insert each circle until you see a petal shape form and punch. You can make two petals from each circle. These were then adhered in between the first layer of petals.
To complete each bloom I cut a circle using the smallest circle CCS template and green blade on the inside track from a contrasting designer paper. I did add a little ink to the edges of the centres before adhering to the centre of the blooms with a foam square.
Flowers can be a great way to use up those scraps you have. You can make as many or as few as you like. I adhered mine to the left side of my layout, even cutting one in half to give the appearance it was running over the edges of the page.
Three photos were used on my layout. The largest was trimmed to 5" x 3.5" and the two smaller were 3" x 3". I chose Bright White cardstock to mat them- The largest was 5.25" x 3.75" and the two smaller were 3.25" x 3.25".

Let's talk about this title! I am insanely in love with the ABC embellishments. There are four colours to choose from but I went for white as I really wanted a softer finish.

To complete the layout I used my beloved Five Leaf punch to punch out some greenery, using Avocado cardstock and one of the designer papers. This punch is no longer available but it would be one of my most used punches from my stash. The leaves are great to tuck in around your photos and flowers until you are happy with the balance.
I really hope you give this one a try for yourselves too!
Until next time, happy scrapping.
